Korea Baduk Association President Ha Geun ryul said the event would be a lasting memory for young participants, while Chinese Weiqi Association Chairman Chang Hao noted its role in promoting bilateral exchanges. Within the World Champions Invitational segment, Luo Xihe (9‑dan) from China and Choi Cheol‑han (9‑dan) from the ROK will compete in three friendly Go matches. Professionals from both countries will also attend seminars and cultural activities including bamboo carving, tea making and night tours of Huangshan. Local scenic areas have launched a series of supporting activities aiming to integrate Go events with local cultural and tourism consumption.
